OpenStreetMap Foundation's budget and expenditures
The OpenStreetMap Foundation is the organization that guards and legally owns the OpenStreetMap data. Every now and then people wonder what it costs to run OpenStreetMap and where the money goes, in particular as we currently run a fundraising drive to ensure the existence of OpenStreetMap in the near future.
We will go through the current budget, compare that with the actual expenditures, and have a look at the reserves. This way we will show how the current strategy of the OpenStreetMap Foundation manifests by the expenses.
